See Which Federal Contracts Are Coming Up for Recompete

Recompete Radar is a free search tool for government contractors. Give it your NAICS codes and set-aside categories and it finds awarded federal contracts whose period of performance ends within the next 12 months. That is the work most likely to come back around as a recompete, with enough lead time to actually pursue it.

How It Works

Three Inputs, One List

No import, no setup project, no data cleanup. Radar reads public federal award data and filters it down to the contracts that matter to your business.

01

Tell Radar where you compete

Enter the NAICS codes you bid under and the set-aside categories you qualify for: small business, 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, or full and open.

02

Radar finds expiring contracts

It searches historical awarded federal contracts and surfaces the ones whose period of performance ends within the next 12 months, the standard lead window for a recompete.

03

You get a ranked list

Results are ranked by urgency, contract value and recompete likelihood, so the contracts worth your attention first are at the top of the list.

What You Get

Every Result Names the Incumbent

Knowing a contract is expiring is only half of it. Radar shows you who holds the work today, which agency bought it, what it was worth, and when it ends.

  • Incumbent contractor on every result
  • Awarding agency and sub-agency
  • Total contract value
  • Period-of-performance end date
  • Ranking by urgency, value and recompete likelihood
  • A likely-recompetes-only filter to cut the noise
  • A minimum total-contract-value floor, so you only see work worth pursuing

What Radar includes

Radar works from USASpending, the public record of federal contract awards. It infers likely recompetes from period-of-performance end dates on contracts that have already been awarded. It does not predict what an agency will choose to recompete, and it does not read live SAM.gov solicitations.

Recompete Radar is a single free tool. AI document extraction, the Kanban pipeline, and spreadsheet and SAM.gov imports are part of the 14-day BiD trial and the paid plans. Results you save from Radar stay read-only until your organization upgrades.

We would rather tell you that up front than have you find out after signing up.

Questions

Recompete Radar FAQ

What is Recompete Radar?
Recompete Radar is a free search tool for government contractors. You give it the NAICS codes and set-aside categories you compete in, and it returns awarded federal contracts whose period of performance ends within the next 12 months, the contracts most likely to come up for recompete. For each one it shows the incumbent, the awarding agency, the total contract value and the end date.
How does Recompete Radar identify a likely recompete?
Radar works from period-of-performance end dates on contracts that have already been awarded. A contract whose period of performance ends soon is a candidate to be recompeted, so Radar ranks results by urgency, contract value and recompete likelihood, and offers a filter that shows likely recompetes only. Radar does not predict agency decisions and it does not read live solicitations.
Where does the contract data come from?
USASpending, the public record of federal award data. Radar searches historical awarded contracts rather than open solicitations, which is why it can show you work that has not been posted for recompete yet.
Is Recompete Radar really free?
Yes. Recompete Radar is free and does not require a credit card. AI features, pipeline editing, and imports are part of BiD, and results you save from Radar remain read-only until your organization upgrades to a paid plan or starts the 14-day trial.
What is the difference between Recompete Radar and BiD?
Recompete Radar answers one question: which contracts in your space are coming up for recompete. BiD is the full platform: a Kanban pipeline for the whole GovCon business development lifecycle, AI document extraction from solicitations, the MRAS workflow, SAM.gov and forecast import, PWin scoring and a past performance library. BiD starts at $99 per month, with a 14-day free trial that includes 10 AI credits and does not require a credit card.
